Thank you for visiting the website of the city of Erfurt / Municipal Council of Erfurt (the provider). The use of our website is generally possible without the requirement to provide personal information. Collection, processing and objection possibility of accessing data

Server log files

The provider collects data on every access to the content (so-called server log files). Access data include:

Name of the website accessed, file, date and time of access, data volume transferred, report on successful access, type of web browser and version, operating system of the user, referrer URL (previously visited page), IP address and provider used. The provider uses the protocol data only for statistical evaluation for the purpose of its operation, security and in order to improve the content. The provider reserves the right, however, to analyse server log files of users retroactively when there are reasonable grounds for suspecting an illegal usage based on concrete evidence. The server log files are deleted after 90 days.

To analyse and for optimisation reasons the town of Erfurt employs the web analysis service "Piwik" ( With every access to our web page an anonymous recording and storage of the following information will initialised:
